I have been throwing this idea around in my head for a bit. I think this sort of post might help me accomplish my reading goals. I generally have a few books going at once, but limiting myself to two at a time has been helpful. It keeps me a little more focused.
The Wise Man’s Fear is the second book in a new fantasy trilogy. It’s a relatively easy read, but it’s lovely. This is the first series I’ve ever read more or less in sync with the newest publication. I’m looking forward to the third book in a big way!
I actually always have a few books of poetry at hand, but this book is my newest acquisition. I keep poems for times when I can’t sleep or am feeling anxious.
Turtle Feet has been sitting on my bookshelf for ages, and Timothy recently lent Joyland to me. It’s pretty rare that I actually read a freshly published book, so I’ll probably read that one next.
Thanks for stopping by. My name is Naomi, and this space is made of girldust. This blog is a picture of my comfortably scattered life on the coast of Maine. I'm trying to be a slightly better version of myself every day. I like old houses, reading, the ocean, ghost stories, and museums. You can learn a little bit more about me here.
